PHARMExcel’s CEO, Yvanne Enever, to speak at UK Industry Leaders Think Tank

PHARMExcel’s CEO, Yvanne Enever, will take to the stage on the 9th November at this year’s IAOCR Clinical Research Industry Leaders Think Tank to share her practical insights on what a world class site looks like from a Sponsor/CRO perspective.

Having founded PHARMExcel 14 years ago and built a successful full-service CRO, Yvanne is well placed to share her industry expertise at this event.

About the Industry Leaders Think Tank

Since 2011 the Industry Leaders Think Tank has attracted senior clinical research leaders, regulators, parliamentarians, and experts from around the globe. Speakers at previous meetings include the shadow Health minister and senior executives from commercial and non-commercial organisations such as Dr Jonathan Sheffield, Chief Executive of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and Alistair Macdonald, CEO of Syneos Health.

This unique, invitation-only meeting is focused on enabling high level discussions and networking between senior level participants in the NHS and commercial sector. It will bring together respected decision makers and change agents to engage in high level discussions about improving standards and bringing meaningful change, enabling us to develop the UK into a world class destination for clinical research.

This year’s theme will focus on “Working Together to Deliver a World-Class Destination for Clinical Research”, a topic that has had a lot of focus since the release of the Lord O’Shaughnessy report in May 2023.

What does a world class site look like from a sponsor and CRO perspective?

PHARMExcel’s CEO and Founder, Yvanne Enever, will be joining an esteemed panel of speakers to provide insight from the perspective of a full-service CRO, as well as hosting a round table discussion. This is a great opportunity to share knowledge and experience, as well as connect and learn from other senior level NHS and commercial sector individuals.

This event will examine the valuable lessons that have been learned post-COVID that this industry must leverage to build itself back to beyond pre-pandemic levels – to a place where clinical research is at the heart of healthcare systems, ensuring all patients have the opportunity to receive the latest and greatest treatments and that we develop current and future clinical research professionals based on best practice global standards.

Yvanne Enever

Yvanne is delighted to be joining the stage with UK industry and regulatory leaders in a high-level discussion about the future of clinical research titled: What does a world-class site look like from a sponsor and CRO perspective?

Yvanne said, “It is a pleasure to have been invited to speak at this year’s Industry Leader’s Think Tank, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to represent PHARMExcel and share the learnings and perspectives we have gained working with NHS and commercial partners over 14 years.

The topic of creating a world-class destination for clinical research has rightly received an increased focus recently, and we all have a responsibility to work collaboratively and cohesively to achieve this. I am really looking forward to being part of this esteemed panel.”

Supporting the IAOCR as a premier sponsor

PHARMExcel is incredibly proud to be the premier sponsor of this event. The Industry Leader’s Think Tank is run as a not-for-profit event, meaning that receiving support from sponsors is vital, and PHARMExcel is delighted to be able to champion the event.

We expect there will be a lot to learn from this informative and engaging meeting, so make sure you stay tuned to our socials as we share insights and key takeaways from the event.
