SME Herts finalist business awards logoPHARMExcel is proud to be shortlisted to win Business of the Year 2022 at the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards. The award recognises innovation, commercial boldness and outstanding management practices.

PHARMExcel is a successful pharmaceutical Contract Research Organisation (CRO), based in Hertfordshire (UK), managing UK and European clinical trials for new medicines since 2009.

Ultimately, PHARMExcel exists to save lives and improve the health of the population.

A bold statement for a small business, however, the PHARMExcel team passionately believe you don’t have to be a big organisation to achieve great things.

Founder and CEO, Yvanne Enever’s vision was to create an accessible, client-first service for the NHS and commercial sector with a single business goal: to improve patient health.

Setting out small from the start, Yvanne realised the value of a lean and highly agile business. The business is uniquely positioned to respond quickly to the pharma sector’s complex demands.

"PHARMExcel are the best team I’ve worked with in clinical research. They are talented and committed individuals with great expertise in the regulatory landscape as well as delivery of clinical trials."
